Nothing from ScanGuard throughout this frustrating ordeal. My `junk' email folder is always thoroughly checked. I have sent those questions to the email address supplied.
Scanguard reviews cnet software#
You do not mention anything about a refund - for the original software nor the add-on that cannot be installed.

SINCE STEVE'S REPLY: I have sent an email to the cancel address cited. So I am hoping I can convey my vast concerns to you - the undecided buyer. I cannot communicate with the software providers - or, moreso, they will not answer my communications. Without real support, I cannot help but feel that I somehow have bought software with all the shortfalls of a bootleg copy. AND just like when I founded a `buyer beware' chatroom - you know, before Facebook, etc took over - will warn as many potential buyers as I can, to keep searching for protective software - elsewhere. I will initiate a PayPal claim against that admittedly-low price. And I am resigned to the fact that, unlike my previous protective software, smartphone protection is not really on offer here. I wrote three site-provided `emails' support - all to exactly NO responses!!! Needless to say I have no further interests in any other discounted `add-ons'. I have the PayPal receipt, just no means THAT WORKS of installing the software. It still `scan' alright, but I made the mistake of purchasing a discounted `add-on' for smartphone' protection. I am now certain that my 1 of 5 stars, here and now, is a much truer indicator as to my better assessment of this product. I think I am more aware now as to why the invitation came so early.

I have deleted that review, only a couple of weeks after that first review. Given the so-early-in -subscription-usage, I did leave the caveat `so far'. Within a few days of purchase, I was invited to write a review of ScanGuard - which I did. As mentioned in earlier favourable review `so far', now.
